Peacock Blue Takchita, Gold Embroidery

This takchita is a two-piece set in intense peacock-blue crepe. The open dfina (overdress) is decorated with gold scroll embroidery on the chest, the wide sleeves and long panels down the skirt, with gold borders along the open edges. Underneath, the matching tahtia (underdress) is embroidered to match and closes with a gold sfifa and knotted buttons. A jewelled gold belt brings both layers together at the waist. The two layers give the takchita its rich, structured look, and the tahtia can also be worn on its own. Perfect for weddings, engagements and evening events.
