Description
This takchita is a two-piece set in deep jade-green crepe. The open dfina (overdress) is decorated with mosaic-inspired gold scrolls with red appliqué motifs on the chest, the bell sleeves and long panels down the skirt. Underneath, the matching tahtia (underdress) closes down the front with a gold sfifa and small knotted buttons. A jewelled gold belt brings both layers together at the waist. The two layers give the takchita its rich, structured look, and the tahtia can also be worn on its own. Perfect for weddings, Eid and henna nights.
