Fir Green Takchita, Gold Embroidery

This takchita is a two-piece set in deep pine-green crepe with a light train. The open dfina (overdress) is decorated with lavish gold floral and geometric embroidery on the chest, the wide sleeves and the whole skirt. Underneath, the matching tahtia (underdress) is embroidered down the centre and closes with a wide gold sfifa and knotted buttons. A gold belt brings both layers together at the waist. The two layers give the takchita its rich, structured look, and the tahtia can also be worn on its own. Perfect for weddings, henna nights and grand celebrations.
