Ivory Takchita, Gold, Red & Green Embroidery

This takchita is a two-piece set in soft ivory crepe. The open dfina (overdress) is decorated with mosaic-inspired gold scrolls and red and green appliqué motifs on the chest, the wide sleeves and the full length of the skirt. Underneath, the matching tahtia (underdress) closes down the front with a gold sfifa and a long row of pearl buttons. A ornate gold belt brings both layers together at the waist. The two layers give the takchita its rich, structured look, and the tahtia can also be worn on its own. Perfect for weddings, henna nights and engagements.
