Orange Takchita, Gold Embroidery

This takchita is a two-piece set in vibrant orange crepe. The open dfina (overdress) is decorated with wide borders of gold embroidery and beadwork along both open edges and on the bell sleeves. Underneath, the matching tahtia (underdress) closes down the front with a gold sfifa and small knotted buttons. A jewelled gold belt brings both layers together at the waist. The two layers give the takchita its rich, structured look, and the tahtia can also be worn on its own. Perfect for henna nights, summer weddings and Eid.
