Burgundy Takchita, Gold Arabesques

This takchita is a two-piece set in deep burgundy crepe. The open dfina (overdress) is decorated with graceful gold arabesque embroidery touched with pale blue and soft pink on the chest, the bell sleeves and down the skirt. Underneath, the matching tahtia (underdress) closes down the front with a gold sfifa and small knotted buttons. A jewelled gold belt brings both layers together at the waist. The two layers give the takchita its rich, structured look, and the tahtia can also be worn on its own. Perfect for weddings, engagements and evening celebrations.
